MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE

HOMILY #1
GOD ALONE SATISFIES HUMAN HEARTS

This first homily of the series reminds us that only God can fill our hearts perfectly and He does it without a price.  It is freely given.  Despite knowing that the Lord always takes care of us and is in our side, we seek so many things to satisfy us--which always fall short and costs us so much!

JESUS IS OUR BEST FRIEND

Fr. John continues is the fourth homily of this series reminding all of us that in order to do the impossible---Jesus must be our best friend.  We need to give the Lord our hearts and trust Him like we do our close personal friends.  St. Peter makes a profession of faith in the gospel this weekend that comes from a heart that knows and loves Christ.  May we respond like Peter did---not only in words, but in actions each day!
